The Meubelbeurs Mechelen International Furniture Fair is one of the biggest events in the furniture industry in Belgium. The event provides fresh new ideas every year as it is also a priceless opportunity to learn about trends at the local and international markets.

Mebelplast’s exhibition referred to the latest upcoming world trends in colors - the white and black.

The central location for display on the Mebelplast stand was occupied by Manchester, a new model of sofas made of Semanil Weiss leather. In this model, special attention deserved the draping and the high gloss, varnished wood overlays on the front of the armrests. Adjacent to the Manchester, the Bourgeois armchair model also attracted visitors’ eyes, combining a combination of crocodile design pearl leather featuring the By cast type pearl smooth leather.

Presented during the four day exhibition, the Mebelplast collection includes, in addition, the models of furniture, such as: Santana and Cobra in Cervo Weiss leather. The Emporio sofa was presented in California beige leather. Equally interesting were the proposals for furniture fabrics, such as the Black Jack sofa wearing a thick strand of chenille, and Normandie and Lord sofas in leo / tempo velvet fabrics. Visitors could also enjoy modern forms such as the Scala sofa, wearing Jaguar, white velvety fabric, or the Sonja armchair made of kaiman Weiss EKO leather.

There was also a noteworthy Fantasi sofa made from a combination of slow burning diego / vitas fabrics and a set of Eton sofas dressed in a unique, ecological, Genetic material – a nanotechnology innovation in the world of upholstery materials.
